Many of us have been fed up, disgruntled and disgusted for years regarding the unbridled growth and expense of a bloated and intrusive government. The “nanny state” mentality seems to be pervasive and the spirit of rugged individualism so common in our founders appears fleeting. We are unwilling to sit back and watch while our government attempts to convert as many citizens as possible into wards of the state, therefore making them so dependent on government that they are guaranteed permanent re-election. Without a major shift in philosophy and involvement by like-minded folks who are willing to DO SOMETHING, this shift from our roots to a socialism model will continue.
